Absolutely! Some of the best writers in TV say its not really the idea, it's the execution. If you can sell it with great writing and you did. I'm personally working on a Linderman/Angela story I think is a stretch also, but the idea intrigues me. And don't mind me, I'm a HUGE canon girl.
