Exactly. What's even more sad is that she gave a bit of realistic diversity to the show. I love Elle and Claire, but what's with all the blondes? How can people watching the show relate to 3 gorgeous blondes and identify with 'real people with powers'. Monica was the closest we could get to a female character that was relatable. She was an American girl struggling in post-Katrina south, she struggled to make money with her job and support her family, and she was a beautiful and strong young girl fighting the poverty and crime of her neighborhood. Then she gets powers. How cool is that?
