This was amazing! I loved every moment and every line. It really does seem like being a Petrelli is a curse for relationships, doesn't it? For Peter: Simone dies, Caitlin gets lost in space. Claire's first known quasi-boyfriend tries to rape her and kills her before she's even a Petrelli, West leaves to save his own skin, and Alex is on the run. Nathan's divorced from his wife and Tracy was captured and imprisoned by him. Even Angela wanted to murder her own husband. Damn, that's one dysfunctional family.
Anyway, mini-rant aside, I loved how Peter went running to Nathan in his feelings of being betrayed and manages to bring Claire back to him by acting like he's okay with her and Alex. I dunno, if this scenario ever did become canon on-screen (yeaaaaah right...) I could see it working just like this.
