I usually don't like "1st pov" fics but I find the 1st person quite fitting for this one. And I *like* the characterisation, especially these two lines: [I promise you, Kate. I’ll try harder, much harder to win you.] And: [I can’t promise you I’ll slow down, but I’ll wait, and I’ll be ready]. They're spot on.
I think that right now Tommy is not mature enough for a relationship with Kate to work out BUT he really relly likes her, and he's willing to try and better himself to get her attention. Which is what I like the most about their relationship. ♥
