oh, this is SO my canon from now on. I am still furious that they killed Lydia-she had such potential! D: But I like how you played this situation out, it was very believable. Also, you're writing had a certain mystic quality to it that I've always associated with the Carnival and I think that made me enjoy this fic even more! :D
